Port of Dover

Port of Dover’s new Multi-Role Pilot boat goes into service. Built by Holyhead Marine, this 15.2m is the latest model to join the pilot range and features a specific multi-role configuration so suit the Port’s combined pilotage, patrol and port duties. Included for these roles are an enclosed aft working deck and a bow pusher integrated into the Popsure fender system. A resilient wheelhouse is installed to reduce noise and improve comfort. Camarc’s pilot refined hull has been utilised to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions, which is further enhanced with an IMO Tier III SCR exhaust system.
