RCMP Coastal Patrol Vessels with Ocean Pacific Marine

Camarc Design is pleased to announce collaboration with Canadian shipbuilder Ocean Pacific Marine has been awarded a contract to deliver three next-generation Coastal Patrol Vessels for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).
The vessels will be built by Ocean Pacific Marine in Campbell River, British Columbia, based on a Camarc high-speed aluminium patrol vessel design.
Designed to meet the demanding operational requirements of the RCMP, the 27-metre patrol vessels will operate along British Columbia's 26,000 kilometres of coastline, supporting law enforcement, search and rescue, emergency response, diving operations and underwater recovery missions. The new vessels will reach speeds of up to 28 knots, a range of approximately 450 nautical miles at cruising speed and accommodation for up to six operational personnel.
Camarc's patrol vessel designs are in service with police, coast guard, naval and rescue organisations around the world, with a proven reputation for delivering exceptional seakeeping, operational capability and performance in challenging conditions.
