An all-new 16m aluminium waterjet pilot boat joins the Camarc fleet. This highly efficient design has been optimised to work within a regulatory manning power limitation of 2x 500hp, and has been built by Aurora Shipyard for the Port of Ningbo. The latest Camarc refined hull allows for an efficient 13 litre engine installation to achieve speeds of 24 Knots with waterjet propulsion. As with all of Camarc’s pilot vessels, the design features a pilot specific hull shape to facilitate boarding operations. The wheelhouse accommodates seating for 11 crew/pilots and is resiliently mounted to the deck reducing noise & vibration levels in order to minimise crew fatigue and improve comfort.
