CAMARC DESIGN

'Design of successful working craft'

Design Services

Camarc offer design services in a number of formats and levels and have worked with clients in a variety of ways on past projects.

The two main ways in which we work with clients are outlined below;

- Camarc is commissioned by the end user/operator to design a new boat which is tailored to their needs. Camarc then assist the operator in the tendering process to select a suitable yard to build the new design. This approach will often take a little more time but ensures the design of the vessel is more complete through the iterative design process and also ensures the design will meet the operator's requirements. Clients who have commissioned us to design to their specific requirements include;

Dutch Pilots Association, Netherlands
Columbia River Bar Pilots, USA
Pacific Pilotage Authority, Vancouver, Canada
Milford Haven Port Authority, UK
Gosport Ferry Ltd., UK

- Camarc is commissioned by the yard for the design of a new boat. Then end user/operator then has a contract with the yard and we are contracted by the yard for the design. Yards use us to bring our experience and proven track record to enhance their bid. We work with many leading yards worldwide on this basis including;

Kvichak Marine Industries, USA
Raidco Marine, France
Holyhead Marine, UK
Alnmaritec , UK
Grandweld, UAE
Lita Marine , Singapore

There are many permutations of the above and we will be very happy to discuss your project and help you determine which approach is best for you. A design support package can be tailored to your requirements.
