Three 16m Steel Camarc Pilot Boats have been delivered to their owners in the Middle East. The vessels were built by Lita Ocean in Singapore, each vessel has twin 490hp MAN engines installed. The heavy duty engines have unlimited operating hours and the boats have a top speed of 16 knots.
The wheelhouse is resiliently mounted which achieves a low noise level of 65 dBA at the helm during normal operations. Engine room ventilation and air-conditioning systems are fitted to meet the demands of operating in the Middle Eastern climate. The vessels have a centrally positioned helm and large bonded windows that provide 360 degree visibility for safe pilot boat operations.
Two more 16m pilot boats of the same design are currently building by Lita Ocean which are due for delivery later this year.
