<< Holyhead Marine Services , Wales have delivered new 16m GRP Pilot Boat design for Harwich Haven Authority. On trials the design showed exceptional performance achieving 27 knots from the twin 600hp Scania installation. This enables HHA to operate at the required 24 knots with much reduced power and fuel consumption. The new design has flexibility as a key feature, the first craft is twin propeller propulsion, other variations include waterjet and alternative arrangement options.
