The
UK Ministry of Defence has ordered 5 more of the Holyhead Marine 15m Police
Patrol Boats for security at the UK's main Naval Bases. This follows the successful
trails of the first craft delivered last year to the MoD Police. These GRP
craft have twin RR waterjets for a speed of 32 knots >>

Perlis Marine in Malaysia are building 5 off Camarc 25m 35 knot Patrol Boats
for the Royal Malaysian Police. The all aluminium craft are designed to Lloyds
Register Class and are twin screw propulsion. The boats are fully fitted with
accommodations for 10 and will be a significant addition to the RMP fleet.

Ferries...
Camarc
have been busy with a number of Ferry Projects. The new 25m boat for NEXUS
on the River Tyne has been delivered and there is a 12m Fast ferry building
by ENP in Portugal for the Azores.

<< The first boat built
in a dedicated facility by Kvichak Marine, Seattle has been accepted by
the USCG having exceeded all the key performance targets. The all aluminium
13.6m (45') 42.5knot+ self-righting craft will greatly enhance the capability
of the USCG for Homeland Security and production of the 180 boat order is
ramping up to meet the demand to place these capable craft in service.

After more that 10 years of service
with the 21m 'Discovery' Class designed by Camarc and following an extended
review of the available options the Dutch Pilots Association, Loodswezen,
have appointed us to design the replacement vessels. The new boats will
be slightly larger than the 'Discovery' boats and will feature emission
controls to make these 'green ships'
